The split
Half of it is due only after you've talked to your own avatar.
$249 starts the build. That is the only money that moves before we do the work.
About a week later you get a private link. Nobody else has it. You talk to your own avatar — interrupt it, push back on it, ask it the question you'd be embarrassed for a visitor to ask. Nothing has touched your domain yet.
If you say yes, we deploy it and the remaining $250 comes due. If you say no, we stop there and you owe nothing further.

That's the whole model. No seats. No per-conversation fee, so a busy week doesn't produce a bill. No contract, no minimum term, no auto-renewing licence, and no tier above this one to get pushed into — because there is only one thing to buy. If your visitor count triples next month, you still pay $29.

What it doesn't
No asterisks. If it's on this list, it isn't in the $499 and it isn't in the $29.
- —Rewriting, redesigning or hosting your website. We add one thing to the site you already have.
- —Video production or scripted recordings.
- —More than one language. Each build speaks one.
- —A dashboard or a login. There is no platform behind this to log into.
- —Seats, roles or team accounts. One avatar, one site.
- —Integration with your CRM, helpdesk, calendar or ticketing system. It answers questions; it doesn't file tickets or update records.
Wrong fit
Who shouldn't buy this.
Short list, and we mean it. We'd rather write it here than let you find it out in month two.
Anyone whose purchase triggers a security review or a procurement process. We have no SOC 2, no SLA and no compliance paperwork, and we would not pass one.
Anyone who needs uptime commitments behind it. This is a front door, not a helpdesk.
Anyone who needs it live this week. This takes about a week to build; a chat widget installs in five minutes.
Anyone who needs any of the things in the list above. If you need two or more of them, buy a platform instead.

Is $499 the real total, or is there more later?
That is the real total for the build. The only other number is $29/month for hosting, which is optional and month-to-month. Year one comes to $760 if you keep hosting for the nine months after the three included ones. Every year after is $348.
What if I don't like it?
Then you don't pay the rest of it. $249 starts the build; the other $250 is only due after you've talked to your own avatar on a private link and said yes. If you say no, we stop there, nothing is deployed, and you owe nothing more.
Why is it split in half?
Because you have no reason to trust us yet. The split puts a week of our work in front of your second payment instead of asking you to take our word for it. Nothing touches your domain until you have talked to the thing and approved it.
Are there per-conversation or usage fees?
No. The price does not move with your traffic. There are no seats, no per-conversation fees and no usage meter, so a busy week does not produce a bill.
How do I stop the $29?
Email us and say stop. It is month-to-month with no minimum term and no notice period to serve. We would rather you cancel in a sentence than stay because leaving is annoying.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is nothing to spin up — an avatar is built by hand for one person over about a week, so a trial would be a week of our work given away rather than a switch we flick. What you get instead is the approval gate, and a live avatar you can interrogate for free right now without giving us anything.
Talk to it before you talk to us.
akshatrastogi.in is the one avatar we have running in public. No signup, no form, no email capture. Interrupt it, argue with it, try to break it. Then decide whether $249 of your money is worth putting in front of a week of our work.
