What does a website AI assistant do?
A website AI assistant responds to visitor questions using configured business information. SoulLite adds a speaking 3D avatar to that interaction, with text input for visitors who prefer to type. The published service includes conversation design, deployment to your domain and lead capture; integrations with external business systems are not included.
For agencies and creative studios
Potential clients often want to know whether you handle their type of project before they book a call. An avatar can explain your services, walk through approved examples of your work, clarify your process and point to the right contact page.
- Good starting question: “We need a website redesign. What would working with you involve?”
- Material to supply: service descriptions, your project process, published work and contact links.
- Boundary to set: avoid inventing a custom quote, deadline or availability that you have not approved.
For consultants and founder-led businesses
A personal site often needs to explain both the work and the person behind it. A custom face and voice can introduce your approach and answer familiar questions from the bio, experience and service material you provide.
- Good starting question: “What kind of company is your service a good fit for?”
- Material to supply: your positioning, public experience, engagement options and a booking link.
- Boundary to set: distinguish an explanation of your approach from advice about a visitor’s specific situation.
For service businesses answering the same questions
Visitors may ask about the steps involved in a service, what they need to prepare or how to get in touch. These are useful first topics because the business can review the answers before launch and update them when the process changes.
- Good starting question: “What should I prepare before our first meeting?”
- Material to supply: current FAQs, opening hours, published policies and human contact options.
- Boundary to set: the avatar should not claim to book, reschedule or update a record unless that capability has actually been added.
For explaining a product before a sales call
A visitor may want a simpler explanation than a long product page provides. An avatar can describe the product from approved material and point to relevant pages. Follow-up questions can reveal which parts of the explanation need clearer wording.
Keep the scope tied to published capabilities. The current SoulLite plans do not include CRM, calendar, helpdesk or ticketing integrations. A link to your existing booking page is different from an assistant that creates a booking.
How to judge whether it helps
Define success before launch. Possible measures include how often visitors start a conversation, whether they reach the right contact page, the relevance of captured enquiries and the questions the avatar could not answer. Compare those measures over a meaningful period; do not assume that adding a face will automatically improve conversions.
Keep the ordinary website navigation and contact options available. Voice should be a choice, and typing should work without granting microphone access. Test on a phone and a slower connection as well as a desktop.
When to choose something simpler
If visitors mostly need a search box, a short form or one clear FAQ answer, improve that first. If your main requirement is an existing CRM workflow, a support queue or contractual uptime commitments, check those requirements before commissioning a custom avatar. The avatar versus chatbot guide explains the trade-offs.
What does getting started involve?
Choose one visitor journey and gather its source material. Then review the website launch checklist and pricing. SoulLite provides a private preview for approval before deploying the finished avatar to your domain.
